As I wrote in my last post, God created everyone on this earth to accomplish certain divine mandates upon their lives. Many are behind schedules in actualizing this. Many are busy with building their personal ambition empire to the neglect of God’s ordained calling for their life.
In this Living Series we will be expounding on 7 Destiny impacting questions you need to get answers to,to really fulfill your purpose.
BIBLICAL FOUNDATION – Luke 4:18-12, Heb. 10:7, Psalm 40:7
Question, I meant right ones are directions out of confusion. They are road maps to destination. He that fail to ask questions will enter into derision.
1. Identity Question – Matt. 16: 13-16.
“Who am I?” A man without identity is a nonentity. That’s why in our world today, organizations spent a lot on branding to give themselves a reputable image. A man without an image is living in mirage. Lack of true self identity is the primary reason why many are lost in the crowd. When you have a wrong image about yourself, you will do wrong things, go the wrong places, dine and wine with wrong people and ultimately live a wrong life.
2. Source Question – Psalm 11:3
“Where am I from?” If you do not know your origin you will never be original. If you fail to recognize and identify with your source, you will never be a source of blessing to anyone. Peradventure your source is contaminated, you have to leave it just as Abraham did, and he became a source of blessing to generations. Gen. 12:1-3. Many at times, your background is a badground that’s putting your back at the ground hindering you from your higher ground.
3. Question of Purpose
“Why am I here” or “What am I here for?”
If you don’t know your cause in life, you will never know your course.1 Sam 17:29. You are created for something and not for everything. The greatest creator have created you to create something. You may look like everybody you are not everybody because God don’t mass produce.
4. Question of Potential and Ability
“What can I do? What am I gifted, talented, anointed, or trained to do? What is my assignment? Your lifting is in your gifting. Your gift is your lift. Your provision is tied to your God given vision. Your consignment is in your assignment. Prov. 17:8; 18:16. Your opportunity in life comes in the area of your gift. So answer this question and get to work!
5. Question of Relationship and Association
“Who do I work with? Who do I partner with? Who do I marry? Who becomes my friends? – Amos 3:3. Association determines destination! Show me your friend and I can predict your future.
6. Question of Final Destination, Future
“Where am I going to? How will I get there? What can hinder me from getting there?
Many are living their lives today as if they are not going anywhere.
7. Question of Legacy
“What am I going to leave in people? What do I want to be remembered for? What impact and influence am I making today that will speak for me tomorrow? What indelible marks am I making now?
When these seven destiny changing questions are answered truthfully, then you can be sure you are living a life of impact, that you are not just existing.
If you’ll like to give your life to Christ please pray this prayer: “Father, I come to you in the name of Jesus. I know that I am a sinner. I believe Jesus died for me and that you raised him from the dead. I confess with my mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord and I receive him as my personal Lord and my Saviour. I am now born again. Amen.”
